TWO TIME WINNER OF THE DUKE CITY SHOOT OUT

Triumph of The Will

Will Hartman became the first two-time winner in Shootout history Saturday when his zombie comedy "Food For Thought" took the Palm de Grease for Best Picture at the ninth annual event. Hartman won the Palm last year for "Easy Pickins." His lead in the film, Elaine Hendrix, also won Best Actress.

Albuquerque writer Christopher Boone won the Audience Award for his comedy, "Preschool's A Bitch," starring Vic Browder and Julia Thudium.

The entire list of award winners and the films will be posted online Sunday.

Saturday'a Gala Premiere was highlighted by an appearance by Bryan Cranston, the lead in AMC's hit TV series "Breaking Bad." Cranston welcomed the crowd, and co-stars Dean Norris and Aaron Paul later gave out awards. Another co-star, Steven Quezada, emceed the event.
